Here are some prompting questions.

What do they say and how do they say it?
Do they have involuntary responses?

  1. This is more of a reaction, but when I know someone is angry, I (and others) feel an intense urge to tip-toe around and make very little noise.

-Cutting sarcasm (not the funny kind)
    -Inhale loudly
    -Forced patience
-the "crescendo effect" = start talking very quietly, slowly building up to a yell
    -Slamming things
-Internal: the desire to say EXACTLY on my mind, in as hurtful a way as possible. May or may not be acted on.

  2. -Narrowing of eyes
    -Face flushed
    -Quiet
-Snapping words to those around you
-Sudden physical reaction against the person who made you mad: hitting, gripping wrist, etc.
